Sungwon Kim, Deputy Director and Chief Curator, Leeum Museum of Art, Seoul.

Sungwon Kim studied French literature, art history, and museology in Paris and currently works as Deputy Director and Chief Curator at Leeum Musem of Art and Professor at Department of Fine Arts, Seoul National University of Science and Technology. Prior to this position, Kim was Artistic Director at Natonal Asia Culture Center, Culture Station Seoul 284, Atelier Hermes, and Chief Curator at ArtSonje Center.

She has curated group exhibitions, including Count Down (2011 ), La Vie mode d’emploi(2012), Playtime (2012), Springwave Festival (2006), the 2nd Anyang Public Art Project (2007 ), as well as solo exhibitions and publications of Pierre Huyghe, Philippe Parreno, Maurizio Cattelan, Tomas Saraceno, Sylvie Fleury, Christian Jankowski, Daniel Buren, Martin Boyce, Gary Webb, Jim Lambie, Park Chan-kyong, Chung Seoyoung, Donghee Koo, Sora Kim, and Kim Beom among others.
