Four visual artists are awarded IASPIS residencies at ISCP in New York for 2027

Four artists have been awarded three-month residencies at the International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP) in Brooklyn, New York, in 2027. The purpose of the IASPIS international residency programme is to support artists in creating, developing, and strengthening their professional networks abroad.

Each residency lasts three months. Recipients are awarded a grant of SEK 90,000 to cover travel, living expenses, and certain material costs during the residency. They are also provided with a furnished apartment and a spacious studio.

One of the recipients is visual artist Carina Emery.

I was extremely happy to receive this news and feel really grateful and excited for this opportunity! I’m very much looking forward to spending time in New York and at ISCP, engaging with a different context, and exploring new ways of thinking through my practice.

Around thirty-five artists and curators participate in the residency programme at any one time, with more than 120 residency fellows each year, making ISCP a vibrant hub for contemporary art.
