The IASPIS archive contains information and documentation on public programmes, artists in residence, expert visits, international collaboration projects in Sweden and material collected from Swedish-based and international artists in residence as well as other artists and curators in the field of visual and applied arts.
Here you can peruse the digital archive and below read more about the physical archive and how you access this.
The IASPIS digital archive mainly includes material previously published on the website, but also has documentation linked to residencies and public programmes. The physical archive, which was established in 2005, has over the years collected documentation from those on IASPIS residencies, other Swedish-based practitioners and visiting curators. There are currently about 300 Swedish artists and groups as well as about 150 foreign artists and curators represented with various materials such as images, publications, audio and video. The purpose of the archive is to collect and make available information about individual practitioners and documentation from IASPIS activities.
You are welcome to visit the IASPIS archive, which is located in the premises of the Swedish Arts Grants Committee in Stockholm. Contact us in advance and we will reserve an appointment time. Material from the archive cannot be lent out, but we are happy to assist with viewing or playback of material.
