Our IASPIS Artists in Residence propose “Mellanrum” as a methodology of gathering. This event is for artists by artists to the people of Stockholm

On Tuesday, 18 August, the current IASPIS Artists in Residence propose “Mellanrum” as a methodology of gathering. Through works in progress, drawings, performances, knitting, videos and conversations, they invite artists and the people of Stockholm to come together at the IASPIS studios.

The artists

Marko Aksentijevic (Belgrade), Josefin Arnell (Funäsdalen/Amsterdam), Arijit Bhattacharyya (Bally/Berlin), Sojung Jun (Seoul), Sara Navarro (Lisbon), Evelina Jonsson (Stockholm), Emma Hasselblad (Stockholm), Karlsson & Björk (Mattias Karlsson and Erik Björk) (Stockholm), and Scilla Rajalin (Stockholm).

  • 6 PM Performance by Scilla Rajalin (The Dance Studio). Duration: 15 minutes
  • 6:30 PM Screening by Arijit Bhattacharyya, “A Handful of Truths in a Mouthful of Lies”, 2025, 26 minutes, followed by a short conversation (Studio 3).
