Artist Talk in Östersund

Jewellery artist Julia Obermaier (Germany) is in Jämtland as the first international guest in Galleri Smedjan’s newly launched Artist in Residence programme. During the talk, Julia will discuss her artistic practice and her relationship with stone as a material.

During her residency in Jämtland, Julia will meet local practitioners and explore stone as a material, including through workshops in nature in the municipalities of Östersund and Åre.
