Stacey de Voe

Artist in Residence at ISCP in New York, July – September 2026

Stacey de Voe lives and works in Malmö. In her practice, she employs site-specific approaches and archival material to explore broader questions of historicity, labor politics, collective memory, resistance, and friendship through installation, sound, video, performance, text, and textiles. Her works weave together archival material, personal memories, and fiction to generate new narratives and to examine women’s presence and absence in public space and recorded history. Through micro-histories, she explores how conventional understandings of history can be challenged to evoke alternative understandings of our time.
