Jagna Lewandowska
Jagna Lewandowska is a graduate of the curatorial program at De Appel in Amsterdam and a member of the New Roman collective (2012–2016). Lewandowska curated and co-curated exhibitions including “Andrzej Jórczak. Looking at Alpha Ursae” (2014) at Arton Foundation, Warsaw; Mikołaj Moskal. “Bones” (2017) at SABOT Gallery, Cluj Napoca, Romania; “Brace for Impact” (2018) at De Appel, Amsterdam; “Gizela Mickiewicz. Shifting Views” (2024) at SKALA Gallery, Poznań, Warsaw.
Together with Sebastian Cichocki, she curated the cross-sectional exhibition “The Penumbral Age. Art in the Time of Planetary Change” (June-September 2020) at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. Recently, she co-created the opening program for the new building of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw and curated the long-term sound installation BRIGHT FUTURE by Wojciech Bąkowski. Lewandowska is currently working on several other projects at the Museum of Modern Art (MSN), where sculpture and sound are important elements.
