Antonin Giroud-Delorme
Artist in Residence, Stockholm, 2 June–25 August 2025
Antonin Giroud-Delorme is a French visual artist based in Amsterdam, working essentially across installation and sculpture. His work explores themes of transformation, decay, and disruption, often questioning how images are constructed and what they obscure. Through the careful deconstruction and reassembly of symbols, Antonin creates poetic compositions where form emerges in dialogue with material. His work addresses ideas of domestic space, bodily transformation, spatial systems, biopolitics, and intimacy.

During his IASPIS residency he will continue working on his project ‘Soma-Witnesses’ and bring it towards a second stage of development. This series combines studio-made works with a process-based element that incorporates contributions from others into the artworks themselves.
The methodology combines studio practice with participatory processes, allowing the artist’s work to unfold at different paces—both in practical, social, and ecological terms.
Antonin Giroud-Delorme studied Fine Arts at L’Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts of Dijon, and at the Sandberg Instituut in Amsterdam.
