Guest accommodation in Paris, Swedish Institute, 2 January– 29 January 2026

Amin Zouiten is a Swedish-Moroccan artist and filmmaker whose works and films have been showcased at venues such as the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm, Malmö Konsthall, Gothenburg Film Festival, Skåne Art Association, Oberhausen International Short Film Festival, Rencontres Paris/Berlin, Stockholm Film Festival, and CPH:DOX. His works and films explore the histories and myths of places as a foundation for reconstructing new speculative narratives around these locations.

During his residency at the Swedish Institute, Zouiten will conduct preliminary research for an upcoming project focused on several sites in Paris that have contributed to shaping the narrative of the modern city of Paris.
