Corinna Rösner

Expert visit in Göteborg and Stockholm during 8 - 12 May. Rösner is a curator and Director for Die Neue Sammlung – The Design Museum in Munich.
Art historian. Chief curator and deputy director of Die Neue Sammlung – The Design Museum, Munich (a museum run by the Free State of Bavaria). Studied art history, archaeology and ethnology at the University of Munich and took her Ph.D. in 1988. As a curator she has worked at Die Neue Sammlung since 1990, accompanying the plannings, and realization of the museum’s new buildings in Munich and Nuremberg until their opening in 2000 (Neues Museum for Art and Design in Nuremberg) and 2002 (Pinakothek der Moderne, Munich). She was involved in the development of the concept for the permanent exhibitions in these buildings as regards content and exhibition design. Curator and co-organizer of numerous temporary exhibitions of the museum. Coauthor and author of publications and exhibition catalogues of Die Neue Sammlung
