Pierre Bernard was one of the founding members of the French design collective Grapus (1970-1991). The group had a strong social commitment and they were all members of the PCF (Parti Communiste Française). After the break-up in 1991 Bernard founded Atelier de Création Graphique (ACG) together with Dirk Behage and Fokke Draaijer with posters for Centre Georges Pompidou as its most visible work.

Maureen Mooren is a graphic designer based in Amsterdam where she runs her own studio. In her work Mooren, by definition, raises the issue of representation. She collaborated with Daniel van der Velden until 2007 on a variety of projects, mainly in the cultural field. Since 2007 she has operated independently, still mostly for cultural clients such as Holland Festival, Marres, the Centre for Contemporary Culture in Maastricht, and If I Can’t Dance, I Don’t Want To Be Part Of Your Revolution. In 2011 she took part in the Dutch pavillion of the Venice Biennale. In recent years Mooren has worked as a guest advisor at Werkplaats Typografie in Arnhem.
