Studios in Sweden
Iaspis’ studio programme in Sweden comprises nine studios on Södermalm in Stockholm and a studio each in Gothenburg, Malmö and Umeå. International artists are invited by Iaspis on recommendations from curators, critics and other artists. The residencies vary in length. The grant includes a studio, subsistence and travelling expenses. Dutch artists may apply through Fonds voor beeldende kunst (www.fondsbkvb.nl). Recent graduates and more established artists based in Sweden may apply for a 6-month studio residency. Applications may be submitted once a year. For further information, please see the tab Grants.
Curators and critics
Iaspis also invites curators and critics for shorter or longer stays in Stockholm, providing them with an opportunity to get to know the Swedish art world, participate in our public programmes and do research.

For the artists and curators working in our studios, Iaspis arranges a varied programme of studio talks with invited Swedish and international curators and critics, and studio visits to other institutions.

New residencies
We are presently trying out various models of studio residencies in Sweden for international artists in the areas of design, craft and architecture.
